I am on my period and I am having very severe cramps. I've tried taking some over-the-counter pills for it and a heating pad. They don't seem to be working. Any suggestions for this? I'd like to be able to do things without the cramping.

My friend had endomitriosis, it turns out that she did have a lot of bad scarring. She ended up having a hysterectomy. But she is getting hot flashes now. Take aspirin/Tylenol/Ibuprofen/Naproxen (take theses as soon as bleeding or cramping starts).

Place heating pad or hot water bottle on your lower back or abdomen, or taking a warm bath may provide relief.

Rest when needed.

Avoid foods that contain caffeine.

Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol.

Massage your lower
