I get moderate stomach pain sometimes, but it usually goes away the next day, or responds to over the counter medication. My concern is that it's becoming more frequent, often several times a week. Since it's not severe pain, I'm not sure whether or not I need to see a doctor about it.

It's abdominal pain, felt in the abdomen. The abdomen is an anatomical area that is bounded by the lower margin of the ribs and diaphragm above, the pelvic bone below, and the flanks on each side.

It's good that it responds to medication. Whether or not it is something about which to worry is going to depend on location and severity. Any pain that stays over a 9 (on a scale of 1-10) for more than 48 hours ought to be checked out by a professional.

Femininity, the pain isn't that severe and doesn't last nearly that long, so your response makes me feel a little better. I'll continue to monitor this, and I'll definitely bring it up when I see my doctor. Thank you both for your responses, I appreciate it.
