A friend of mine has this acne dilemma on her upper arms. She's not the type who gets acne on her face. And she says that she only experienced these small-sized acne breakouts on her upper arms right after she gave birth to her only child three years ago. Any suggestions on how this can be treated? My sister had the same problem when she was in her teenage years. But she also had breakouts on her face. My mom took her to a dermatologist and she tried this ointment that worked on both face and arms. She only washes her face and arms with Dove, too, as it's very mild and has moisturizer in its component. I will try to ask her what ointment she used.

Panoxyl, perhaps?
A friend of mine who is also prone to hormonal acne on the chin area uses Panoxyl and so far, she finds it effective. She applies Panoxyl on her skin before bed, and right after taking a showed in the morning. She complains of the dryness, though, but says it's nothing a good moisturizer cannot solve.

Yes, my sister gets those bumps on her upper arms, too! I used to as a child but now I get them less and less. On my sister, though, it makes her skin appear darker in the spots where she has the most bumps.
