I've developed severe acne since the birth of my daughter fourteen months ago. My doc has put me on antibiotics but so far nothing is improving.
What causes sudden acne-I'm in my thirties.

Antibotics for acne? I have breakouts from time to time. I'm in my 30's too. I think our bodies just change and things bother our skin. Stress is the biggest one for me. I have a HUGE zit near my nose, of course I started a new job on Monday and I was stressing over it.

I have always thought that acne are just skin deep, so if there's a need to an antibiotic, it should just be topical. Take care of your kidneys, it's going to work twice it usual function if you are taking antibiotics.

Antibiotics seems to be a really strong treatment for Acne. If it is simply blocked pores.
I would definitely try identifying any changes other than child birth. I know that I have a friend who had to quite taking her birth control after child birth because it was causing acne. Or at least oily skin that was leading to it.

I have never heard of antibiodics for acne treatment. I have however heard of acne coming from a hormone inbalance, which could be a possibility after childbirth. Did your doctor check out to see if this might be the cause?
