I just started Yaz birth control pills. My ob/gyn thought it may help my acne. I have skin that has been very oily and I have been like breaking out since I gave birth in last year. Has anyone else been taking Yaz and has it helped acne?

I haven't used Yaz personally but my daughter has used it for a year. She has always had oily skin and would suffer from regular breakouts. Since starting the Yaz, she rarely gets a pimple now. And her skin is less oily, too.

My girlfriend used to have pretty bad acne but since she started Yaz about six months ago, her face has cleared right up. She is ecstatic and said going on the Yaz is the best thing she's ever done. After seeing what it has done for her, I would certainly recommend it to others.

I take Yaz for another condition (yes the one they advertise on tv lol). I have been taking it for about 8 months now and I can honestly say my face is the clearest it has ever been since puberty!

My daughter has really bad acne, I didn't know that Yaz helped with that. I am going to have her ask her gynecologist for a prescription for it to try. Thank you for posting this!

I know some birth controls can help with Acne but you have to be careful what other side effects they have. I swear it was Yaz that I keep seeing tv advertisements from a group of lawyers that are asking if women that took Yaz are having other problems.
I am on birth control but it is not Yaz.
