How do you know it is Alzheimer's Disease and not just getting loss of memory due to getting older?  Is there a test that can be done or is it just through an evaluation and questionnaire with the dr.?

I think there is a list of the ten early warning signs of Alzheimer's, which include memory loss that interferes with daily life, disorientation in time and space, calling things by the wrong name, among others. There isn't a specific test to diagnose Alzheimer's. As of now, a combination of thorough medical evaluation and examination, neurological tests, and brain imaging
