How do you know it is Alzheimer's Disease and not just getting loss of memory due to getting older? Is there a test that can be done or is it just through an evaluation and questionnaire with the dr.?

I think there is a list of the ten early warning signs of Alzheimer's, which include memory loss that interferes with daily life, disorientation in time and space, calling things by the wrong name, among others. Researchers and medical experts have been trying to come up with a specific method or test to diagnose Alzheimer's. Scientists and researchers now say that memory loss at any age is not normal so anyone with those issues should definitely have themselves tested for the disease.

you can research on the internet for alzheimers warning signs and if you feel you or someone you love may have it then it would be best to make a doctor's appointment for a professional look and advice as to what action to take.
