I know Alzheimers can be a very serious conidition and at times, people down know who they are. Is there something that can safe guard the patient, so they don't harm or get themselves in trouble?

One thing I would do is to child proof the house, just in case the person with Alzheimer could possibly harm themselves. They probably will need to be watched constantly to prevent anything from happening to them.

Patients with Alzheimer should not be left alone. Someone should always keep an eye on them because they could hurt themselves and they should not be allowed to drive or go somewhere alone because they could get lost.

I agree with question mark for somebody who has progressing alzheimer's disease they should not be left alone especially when they are disoriented. I hear in the news all the time how elderly people go missing who have alzheimer's most of the time they are found but sometimes they aren't and that is very sad.
