From what I have read and heard the pain on the right lower side along with fever and vomiting could very well be the appendix. I still have mine. A friend of mine had those symptoms and had to have hers removed.

He really needs to be checked by a doctor. It could be any number of things. It could be an infection or inflammation of his colon. That would also make him have those type of symptoms. But basically-he really just needs to be checked.

If the pain is unbearable, its better to go and see a doctor. It might need to be taken out. Don't take chances, before it becomes too late.

Anytime you think it may be your appendix you should have it checked out if it ruptures you could die and if you don't die you will spend weeks in the hospital on high dose antibiotics. Appendix pain is not always on the right side some people can feel it on the left side, on their back, and some people's upper abdomen hurts. Children often show no symptoms at all except for a high fever.

One of the ways to check if it is possibly appendicitis is to put pressure on the right hand side just around the hip area and let it go quickly. If this causes the pain to increase there is a good possibility it is Log in or Register to read more… |
