Do you think it is better to remove the appendix before we ever get appendicitis? I heard that it doesn't have an important role in our body so there is no problem removing a healthy appendix.

I don't think its a good idea to have your appendix removed if you aren't having any symptoms.  It's an unnecessary surgery unless your are having appendicitis.  Why would anyone want to put themselves thru that?  Some people can go their whole lives and never have any problem with their appendix.
