Does oil control has a direct relation to the ailment of Asthma?  Should oil intake be controlled by Asthma patients?  What are your reactions on this?

I didn't think that oil had anything to do with asthma? Are there studies behind this? I would be interested to find out because my son suffers from asthma.

Oil has nothing to do with asthma. Asthma is an allergic or reactive disease. Normally, the lungs come into contact with a substance (it is breathed in), an allergic type reaction occurs and the airways swell. This makes breathing hard.

In Japan, researchers have discovered fish oil does indeed reduce asthma
symptoms in children with long-term bronchial asthma. By the time they are adults, is possible they may not have asthma anymore.

This is the first time I have heard about asthma and oil being connected or related. My two sons have asthma and they both have different "triggers".

A study done by Indiana University showed that people suffering from exercise induced asthma were able to reduce their symptoms below the threshold used to diagnose the disease by eating a diet supplemented with fish oil.

The special diet reduced narrowing of the patient's airway and enabled the person to use less asthma medication.

If you're allergic to oil then it would.  You should be aware of what is triggering your asthma and avoid it!

I don't they are saying oil causes asthma they are saying that some studies show that fish oil can be beneficial for people with asthma.
