Frequently, I have back and neck pain. I think it may be caused by the way I sit at my computer. I think it could also be due to stress. I can't really afford to buy a new chair, so I've been taking some over-the-counter medication. But as it is, I really dislike taking these everyday. I'm afraid that eventually, it will have bad effects on my body. Has anyone tried natural Log in or Register to read more… |

I started doing yoga a couple months ago and it is gentle exercise that helps reduce tension and build flexibility. It wouldn't hurt to check with a doctor first, but I'd highly recommend trying yoga too.

Stretch every once in a while so you don't sit in front of the computer for a long time. Your must also be in relaxed position and try to sit erect when you are typing.

I suffer from lower back pain when I am sitting for a long time, so I get up and walk around every two hours when I am working online. While walking around, I also flex my fingers, wrists and arms, and it relieves the neck pain too.

My work requires me to sit in front of the computer for several hours, so it's not a surprise that I encounter neck and back pains. To prevent such pains, I take very short breaks to do some stretching and go out to breathe in fresh air. I never take pain killers for this type of pain.

Have you heard of Salonpas? It helps relieve muscle pain especially on your back and neck. Practicing good sitting posture can help ease the back and neck pain as well.
