Do you have trouble with your back during lengthy car rides? I do, and often have to bring a pillow to stuff between my back and the seat.

Sitting in the car for a long period can really bring some discomfort. I also bring pillows and cushions to provide back support. I avoid staying in one position. I try to move as frequently as possible.

yep, pillows and back support are good.. sitting for too long, which is unavoidable in long travels, will cramp you lower back muscles..

last year hi meet with an accident nd injured my ribs after recovering from it now iam not able to take long rides my chest pain starts so wht measures i can take tat i over come this prob.

Maybe you need to take breaks during the rides. Break them up into segments and give yourself a 15 minute break between each segment, where you can change position and not have your body fixed in the same position continuously.
