I have been having some stiffness in my back and a friend recommended I go to a chiropractor. Have you ever used a chiropractor? Did you get any relief from it? Do you have to go more than once, or on a regular basis?

I have never been to a chiropractor. I am having neck problems as well. I have thought about going, but I need to find out if it is covered under my insurance.

My boyfriend went to one, and it was expensive. And all the doctor did was made his back crack. Though he said there was some relief, but then the uneasiness came back.

There are excercises a person can do or even just getting up and taking stretch breaks can help a back. Pay attention to sleep positions.

Chiropractor are expensive. And please be careful, and make sure that the chiropractor you are going to is legitimate. I readn an article in reader's digest, that she got paralyzed because a chiro made a mistake on her.

Yeah, I'm not much of a believer in chiropractors. I don't strongly disapprove or disagree with using them, but I worked in insurance where I saw it wasn't necessarily always a good thing. It's made me skeptical.

Honestly it depends a great deal on the chiropractor you see. I know one in my area who the neurologists refer patients to. He is excellent and does quite a few diagnostic tests before he ever does any type of treatment. I have had really good results from his treatment.

I have been and they straightened out my upper back. The ultimate fix though was getting a new boss as most of my problem was stress related.

I have a chiropractor I've seen on an as-needed basis for the past ten years. He's helped me with a variety of issues, such as muscle tightness and teaching me stretching exercises. He's been great!

I never been to a chiropractor, but you should visit one if you are having servere back pains. Back pain is nothing to play and could affect you hold life style.

I have never been to one but I would go in a minute if my insurance would pay for it. I have had back pain for years not all the time but pretty severe when it acts up.

I think i tried almost everything to cure my back and neck pain last 2yrs. I used to walk with a bad limp in one leg. My previous
experiences with other chiropractors were not that great.

My primary care doctor doesn't ever refer to chiropractor's because he says they are not actual doctors and I should see an orthopedist for my lower back pain. My mom though did go see a chiropractor for her neck pain and she did say that it did help. I went with her and it kind of creeped me out hearing all of those bones cracking.
