Occasionally I have one muscle in my back which will spasm for no apparent reason. I don't know if I pulled it and it just never healed correctly or if something else is wrong. What would you recommend?

I went through a period of about a month where I experienced occassional back spasms. They were quite painful and would pretty much stop me in my tracks. I just took ibuprofen, tried to keep my back stretched out, and avoided any activity that might stress out those muscles.

Have you tried going to a chiropractor? I know some people don't like the thought of going to one but mine always helps me.
