Hi everybody :).

 

I've got a friend who has scoliosis pretty badly; she doesn't like the way she looks, and she says her curve is over 50 degrees, and still getting worse.  She's been told that surgery is her only option.  Does anybody know if it would be a good idea at this point? She's scared to death of being paralyzed.  What do you think?  Should she go through with

It is almost completely impossible to truly straighten the spine of a person with scoliosis but some improvement is usually done. You may not have a perfectly straight spine after the surgery, but you will have less of a curve in  your spine.
