I'm not sure if I placed this under the correct thread category… But I have bleeding gums and have been feeling very tired often of late. I also noticed that I get nose bleeds often now, and friends say that I look pale. I was wondering if you guys know what I might have?

I am not too sure about this myself but I am not a doctor. I have had bleeding gums before but that is due to the dental issues I have that run in my family. I will end up with dentures before too long myself. Are you brushing too hard or dealing with any sinus issues?

Yup, that is a simplified explanation though. Aplastic anemia is
characterized by low blood cell count, which means that you have a low
RBC, WBC and platelets count. It usually gets worse the longer you have
the disease.

While some may need only medications to treat this, others can find themselves in life threatening conditions wherein their blood cell counts are really low. Severe aplastic anemia can easily lead to death. Thankfully, a patient can have a bone marrow transplant to help save his life.
