Frequent bumping of head can cause amnesia? The bump is not that hard but it is frequent. Can it possibly causes amnesia?

I don't know about frequent mild bumps on the head but hard bumps on head can cause amnesia.

If a certain nerve is repeatedly subjected to bumping, then it will lead to a more serious case, like amnesia, and maybe worst.

Bumps on the head are very serious. If you remember Liam Niessan's wife while skiing fell and bumped her head. Felt okay and denied her chance to go to the hospital. However, a couple of hours later her head stated giving her such pain she was flown into the hospital and later died because the bump had bruised her brain. That's an extreme of what can happen.

I've heard that repeated concussions can lead to various problems including trouble concentrating, balance issues, and loss of memory. It's becoming a more common issue with kids playing contact sports and suffering head injuries.

Concussions and memory loss should not occur from these kinds of minor bumps-but longer term minor issues may crop up. Can you in some way prevent these from occuring?

Amnesia is damage caused to the areas of the brain that processes memory. Amnestic syndrome is more serious and can be permanent.

Is a concussion a bruise on the brain? How long do these take to heal?
