My husband had to go to the doctor for his carpal tunnel and he was told the same thing about the exercises. I had pregnancy induced carpal tunnel but I have been working so much that it has flared up. I have found that wrappign my wrist with an ace bandage helps immensely. (I can't type with my splint on).
