Sometimes, when I lay down in bed at night, I feel a pricking pain on the left side of my chest. Sometimes it lasts about five minutes or less. I am a smoker and I am afraid that it might be a start of a heart attack. What is it?

Does this pain occurs on your chest or on the flesh, because sometimes it occurs to me and even am a smoker, i feel like a burning in my chest but when i apply some cold water i feel really good, but as far as i came to know that it is not a heart attack or any thing, if heart attack comes you fell very uncomfort and feel like sweating and there will be a pain in your vein or something am not

Heart attack is processed three stage.
We prevent before second stage.
Smoking is very dangerours so chance is more.
And After take a food maximum avoid lying on bed it's also one of the reason for heart paiin not heart attack.

Here are few of te Heart attack indicators are:
- Â Irregular or speedy heartbeats
- Â Soreness, pressure or pain in the chest
- Â Shortness of breath or weakness
- Â Pain or stinging in the left arm
- Â Diaphoresis, wooziness or nausea
