How long can you be on Lipitor? I have never heard anyone say how long you can be on it without it having adverse effects on the body.

I'm not on Lipitor, I'm on Crestor and have been on it now for 17 years. I have had no adverse affect with it and in fact have been on a 2nd cholesterol drug, Ezitrol, for about 4 years as well. I don't think there are adverse affects from these drugs.
