What are the side effects of liposuction? This procedure is done by many people who can't reduce weight through diet or exercise. But I wonder if this will affect the normal mechanism of the body in eradicating fats.

Side Effects of Liposuction include:
Bruising: can be painful in the short term, and should fade after a few weeks.
Swelling: should subside gradually over a month or two.

I have always wanted to do a liposuction, but the horror stories have stopped me. The latest one has been the death of my friend's 28 year old girlfriend. It was such a tragedy. They are still not clear if it was the anesthesia or another type of medical problem.

That is so sad, Rosalinda.
I would love the results of liposuction but like you, I'm too scared of negative side effects. I just can't go under the knife for something like this.

The thing that has stopped me from going under liposuction procedure is that the charge is very expensive and the possible complications that I might not handle in the future. Now I'm surprised to know that liposuction can possibly kill.
