I tried to look it up and found that the cognitive behavioral model of illness states that the patient’s interpretation of symptoms plays a relevant role in perpetuating the illness. I think some causes of CFS may be related to depression, which may be due to real or imagined, or exaggerated reasons, and could also be due to nutritional deficiency. It is important to identify the possible underlying causes so that an effective treatment or management can be planned.
