While I'm not convinced that cough medicines work at all, I am curious as what people use and if there is a reason for it. Growing up, we used Vicks. Then we switched to Robotussin.

I think it will depend on to what medicine that is suitable for you. Cause some people can be cure with vicks but some cannot.

I also am not a believer of cough syrups and others that are out there. I just drink lots of water, load up on vit. c and just spit out whatever phlegm that comes out. Though my mom, drinks salbutamol expectorant.

Vitamin C is probably the one thing I believe in when I get a cold or flu. It does seem to help. Also, amazingly, chicken soup. I don't get it, but somehow or another, it works with me, and I'm not a big fan of chicken soup.

I always thought Nyquil and Theraflu were good cold medicines. For me, they always seems to get the best of my cold. Within a few days, my cold is usually all cleared up.

I always felt that Nyquil even though it does help you sleep it doesn't really cure my symptoms, just alleviates them at night. Log in or Register to read more… |

Thanks for sharing it with us . I have to use this types of tablet which are too helpful to avoid colds-flu . You must can also ues these medicine and their not any type of side effect .
