I am trying to help out a close friend who just lost a very close uncle to suicide. What are some resources, or even just helpful advice, I can help her with? She is taking the death very badly and she has asked for help. I really wish that there was something I could do for her.

Dealing with death and grief is very challenging. I was faced by this issue when my mom died when I was in college. I'd say acceptance and a good support system are very important. I think the least you can do is to be there when she needs someone to listen to her as she vents her feelings. For most people, crying and expressing their feelings bring a cathartic effect.

The most important thing you can do for her is just to listen. I am going through a similar situation and being able to talk to someone about what I am thinking and feeling has helped me come a long way.

Yeah, it's hard for children and adults to deal with death and grief. My father passed away when I was a child, and that's a big loss for me, but time cures.

    • Death is a natural part of the life cycle, and we all must come to terms
with it. Accepting the inevitable doesn't have to be difficult if you
      adjust your perspective.

Well i absolutely agree with the ideas of sweetgirl . I would also like to share that Death is a natural thing which we can not stop because we have no control over it . Everybody has to die one day .So do not be afraid from death and pray to god for forgiveness and deeply repent on your sins .
