Do you brush your tongue and roof of your mouth and floss?  Have you tried gargling with an antiseptic mouthwash?  If you are doing these things, you might want to consult your doctor and make sure it's not actually a digestive issue or other health problem.

Doesn't everyone have bad breath in the morning? I mean it even has a name of its own-morning breath! Certainly, everyone that I know has this, even my four year old child.

I'm not sure you can do anything about morning breath.  Just take the time to brush your teeth again after you get up.

You should consume water and other beverages during normal waking hours which helps the saliva wash away food particles. With not food particles in your mouth, you don't have to worry about bad breath, due to decaying food in your mouth.

I heard that yoghurt drink (with lactobacillus) can help cure halitosis but I'm not sure if it's true…

Yogurt with probiotics, like lactobacillus, my help if your bad breath is caused by an oral yeast infection. You should definitely floss and drink plenty of fluids since, like louiedon62 said, old food particles cause bad breath. Make sure to visit your doctor regularly and if you don't already, make sure to brush your teeth more than once a day- definitely in the morning and night, but

How about  try using the new toothpastes now in the market specially
formulated for night time brushing.

They are supposed to keep
your breath fresh until morning.  They

Some cats are stinkier then others but their could be a problem with him
. Try a few products yourself first they sell stuff that will make the
cats breath smell better then yours in almost all pet stores. If that
don't work after three weeks then take it to a vet.

Besides brushing your teeth, it's also advisable to clean your tongue using a tongue cleaner you can find easily on the market. Toothbrush wouldn't clean your tongue as well as it does.

I too, do suffer bad breath in the morning after waking up.
Gargling a little mouthwash mixed in a glass of water, brushing and flossing
will help lessen bad breath.

I thought everyone had bad breath in the morning!  I brush my teeth, gums, and tongue every morning and night.  I also floss and use Listerine at night before bed.

I thought bad breath in the morning was normal, but I have found that if I use mouthwash before bed after brushing it helps my breath smell better ion the morning.

I agree about cleaning your tounge, besides brushing your teeth. Anyway, do you have a dental cavity? I read that one of the main causes of bad breath is dental cavities.

I noticed a huge, positive difference in my breath after cleaning up my diet and adopting a more rigorous dental health routine. Instead of just brushing my teeth, I start out flossing. I then rinse with mouthwash before brushing my teeth/tongue etc. This seems to help significantly.

If you have any sort of cavity in your mouth it will probably effect yoru breath. If you haven't been to a dentist check up lately that might be a good idea. It makes sense, as the cavity is basically a part of your tooth rotting. A dentist can take care of it right away though!
