Any suggestions on what might be causing my left ear to always feel like it's full? When I pinch my nose and gently blow, it momentarily clears it but the fullness comes back.

Maybe there is water stuck in your ear. I always feel like that every after I go swimming and do some free diving. But after a few days it goes away. How long have you had it?

I used to have this issue myself when I was younger, then I just got used to cleaning my ears out after a swim/shower. I would check to see if you have some extra water in the ear, its fully what it sounds like here. No pun intended.

You might want to go to the doctor and see if they can clean out your ear for you. It might have a lot of junk in it and you just can't get it out with a q-tip. I have stuffed ears a lot, but with an allergy pill they unclog.
