Whenever I have a sinus infection I go to my family practioner. Recently I've been wondering if I need to see a specialist like an ENT but have been wondering how many infections a year would warrant such a visit. Any ideas? Thanks

Your doctor would tell you if you needed to see a specialist. You can ask your family doctor the next time you go in for a sinus infection. I get them a lot too but my family doctor takes care of me.

Talk about this with your doctor, if he suggests that you need to go to a specialist, then you should go. There's no harm in going, except the one it'll do to your pocket.
