Research is finding that there are genetic links when it comes to getting a bipolar disorder. At first it was thought since it runs in families it was possibly environmental, but studies are showing children adopted as infants who had a bipolar parent still get the disease. Also it is  80% likely identical twins will both have the disease while only 16% of twins who are not identical both have
