I know that a good many cancers are more prevelant in smokers, and since the head and neck are the area of the body most in contact with the smoke, it would make sense that these are most affected. Does anyone know how much more common these cancers are in smokers?

I have a cousin who is now based in Southeast Asia. A lot of the old people there are fond of smoking tobacco — tobacco leaves rolled into a thick stick.
