After I had my daughter, I expected a temporary lower libido while we adjusted to life with her and dealt with sleep deprivation. Unfortunately, she's over a year old now but it is still low and I have fewer orgasims than I did. What should I do to get back to normal?

What is your lifestyle like? Are you eating healthy, and getting enough sleep and exercise? If your lifestyle changed for the worse in any way after the birth of your daughter, that could easily explain the lack of desire. Another culprit may be stress. Look into stress reducing activities (exercise is a great one) to add to your daily routine. Otherwise you can try some supplements such as Log in or Register to read more… |

Maybe you are too tired and stressed. Have some time for rest and relaxation. Have a night out with your partner without thinking of your daughter and other problems, and see how it goes.

I would look to lifestyle issues first – make sure you are eating right, exercising, and getting as much rest as possible. If none of that works, talk to your doctor about having your hormone levels checked. Pregnancy throws hormones totally out of whack and sometimes they don't automatically go back to normal.
