Is there a possibility that we can acquire measles from vaccines? I know that vaccines would prevent us from getting the disease because of the controlled virus in the vaccine. But what if the vaccine injected was over the correct dosage?

I don't believe it's possible to get measles from the vaccine, because the vaccine contains an altered and less potent form of the virus. Side effects are possible, but they usually aren't serious. I don't think it's anything to be very concerned about.

I agree with Chris that you can't get measles from the vaccine, however most vaccines aren't 100% guaranteed that you wont get the disease. Like the flu vaccine for example, you can get vaccinated and yet still get the flu.
