I worry about everything and I let every little thing get to me. I am constantly getting myself worked up over everything and don't know how to stop doing this. Does anyone have any ideas on how to relax myself when I am nerved up?

Before I went to medication I would try some relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, take a 5 minute walk by yourself and try to block out everything else. Also a nice cup of chammomile tea may relax you nicely.

Do you excercise regularly. My anxiety issues tend to subside if I am getting the right amount of excercise. When I couch potatoe the anxiety just seems to build and I worry about everything.

I take an anxiety medication. I only take it if my anxiety is really bad, other wise I just try to talk myself through whatever situation I am in. I am trying to teach myself that a situation is something that will not last forever. There is always an end and I need to just get through it one moment at a time.
