About six months ago my nine year old was having stomach pain and we couldn't figure out what it was. In the interim they tested her for mono and she was found to have antibodies against it. Wouldn't that mean at some point she had it? How could she have it and no one know?

Many times kids don't have the obvious symptoms with mono that adults have. Last year two of our daughters and I all ended up with mono one right after another. We would never have known our 8 year old had it. She wasn't tired and she was ready to run, but we had to insist that she rest. There wasn't any doubt our 18 year old and I had it.
