How do you convince somebody that they need to get a colonoscopy because of a family history of prostate cancer.  I have a friend who's sister passed away because of undiagnosed prostate cancer and my friend is adamant about never going to the doctor…this worries me.

Sorry yellow mellow you are correct I meant my friend's brother passed away from undiagnosed prostate cancer.  And he has yet to schedule a colonoscopy he is about turn 52.  Don't know how to convince him that just because his brother's prostate cancer was missed doesn't mean he shouldn't be preventative about it his own health.
