The other thread got me thinking: have you ever dealt with cervical dysplasia?  How bad was it and were you scared?  

 

I had it in college and ended up with cryosurgery, so it was scary.  I've been ok ever since, fortunately.

My best friend was diagnosed with a moderate case of it and it was pretty scary for all of us. Her mom had cervical cancer and she was afraid she would get it too. Even though it takes many years for dysplasia to turn to cancer, it is still a concern. Since then, we make sure to all get our pap smears on time. It is important to find things on time. There are so many treatments for most things
