I can't imagine how difficult it must be to be single and pregnant. I would hope that any woman in this situation has plenty of help and support from family and friends! Has anyone gone through this who can share their experience?

It's pretty hard but you don't have much choice so you just keep on doing what you have to do. Luckily I do have a pretty great support system. My family is heavily involved in raising my child and I don't know what I would do without them. I do sometimes regret that my daughter is growing up without a father and I would recommend that if you had a choice between raising a Log in or Register to read more… |

My cousin is a single parent and it seems so difficult from an outsider's prespective I don't know if I would be able to do it myself. I try to help her out as much as I can, but I have my own life too.

I have a friend who belongs to a very conservative family. Years ago she had a relationship with a married guy and got pregnant after a year. Her parents, being conservative and religious, disowned her and kicked her out of the house upon learning about her situation. So basically, she was by herself. She gave birth alone, without anybody holding her hand. I still cannot imagine how she did Log in or Register to read more… |
