Is there any single parent here? I really respect those who decide to raise their kids by themselves. Taking care of the kids with your spouse is already hard, let alone taking care of them by yourself.

I don't think it's a choice a lot of times, to be a single parent – it is a situation that you are put in. I was a single parent for years and now I'm not. I do have a lot of respect for all parents.

I agree with Healthnut. Sometimes this situations are unavoivable. Parenting is not an easy job so we must respect all parents who are responsible enough to raise their child in a good manner.

I agree with you also, in most cases, it's a situation that you are put in. My mother has been a single parent for me and my siblings for more than 15 years, after my dad passed away when I was still a child.
