I have a friend long ago (when we were teens actually) that ended up having to have one of his testicles removed due to a biking accident (we were kind of extreme teens). I remember the doctor saying that its possible this could increase his chances of testicular cancer but I am not exactly sure why. From what I remember he never had a history of it within his family, but this only came up

Doctors don't know why a man develops testicular cancer. However, doctors have found links between testicular cancer and other factors.
