I always get bad sinus headaches when the weather changes. It lasts for about 2 to 3 weeks. My doctor said it`s allergies to pollen and other outside stuff, I don`t remember. Sometimes it turns into an infection. I take the sinus medication that you have to get behind the counter. It works but not for more than a few hours. I don`t know what else Ican do because I am on other meds too.

Start washing your sinuses out with a saline rinse at least once and week and it will help tremendously. I used to do something similar and after I started rinsing my sinuses out, I can tell an enormous difference.

I've heard that the sinus rinses are great- I have not tried them yet and I'm not sure I will. I have allergies all the time. I take Advil Cold and Sinus and it usually lasts for 4 hours on a bad day and longer on a good day. Have you tried Zyrtec or Claritin?

I usually have a problem with seasonal allergies in the spring time so far no problems this year. I had never heard of rinsing your sinuses before I will keep that in mind if they do flare up.

If that goes on, you better consult an expert for that so that you can be sure for any medications.

I usually use Zyrtec but I've run out and haven't picked up any more. So this morning I woke up and I have a horrible sinus infection. It's horrible. I hate being sick.

I live on Allegra year round because my allergies are so bad but there are days when even that won't work. Today was one of those days where I was sniffling and sneezing at work all day.
