I was hoping to find information here, I have some weird recurring rash that seems to occur in the summer on the lower portion of my legs even though I wear long pants and socks. I am not sure exactly the cause other then I think it is related to either grass, hay or products that are used on livestock. It only happens when I walk through the barns but I am confused as despite being covered it Log in or Register to read more… |

I've got the same thing happening. When I dig my legs I get this red irritating itchy rash like. I have been putting neosporin and cortaid on it and it's not going away. I have a doctors appointment on Monday, I'll post what I find out!

Well I found out mine is ezcema! Yuk… really dry skin and I needed a stronger steroid cream to try to get rid of it. I'm going to put it on tonight after I shower. It's a rash and it itches like crazy! I hope it goes away quick!

Sometimes mine gets irritated in the summer just from shaving more and then getting in the pool- I guess those follicles just don't like the chlorine!

It could be anything, something in the air that is bothering your skin. Something in your body that is making you itch. I would go to the doctor to find out what they think it is. They can treat it and you won't get the rash anymore.

When I had eczema the doctor gave me samples of Lac-Hydrin and that worked wonders. Here I can buy it without prescription. I don't know about where you are but most pharmacists here carry it. It might be worthwhile to try it before going into the expense of seeing a doctor. It doesn't take a lot of it and it lasts quite awhile.

Most rashes are not dangerous and can be cured in the matter of weeks.
Life-threatening skin rashes are. rare, but you should always make a doctors visit if the condition continues after a week.
