I have read alot that not all vitamins are created equal, how do I know for sure which vitamins are good ones? There are so many on the shelves these days and so many for things that I don't even know what they are. Is one brand better then another?

My suggestion is if you don't know the different brands of vitamins ask the pharmacist which one he would recommend as being the better quality. Most pharmacists know what is in all the medications, including vitamins, on their shelves.

I agree with this one 100%, ask the pharmacist. I would also say shop at GNC, because I know there Vitamins are top notch. You can also ask your doctor which Vitamin you should be taken and they should be able to tell you which brand or they might say they are all the same.

Go to trusted pharmacies, ask a friend pharmacist, and you could check online for reviews of products.

- Choose a multivitamin that has beta carotene and mixed carotenoids, the raw material your body converts to vitamin A on an as-needed basis. Excessive vitamin A as retinol (the preformed variety called acetate or palmitate on labels) is detrimental to bone and liver health.
